drama drama drama. i feel like i'm living in a tv show for pete's sake. come on girls. let's cut all the crap and be happy. no more yelling. no more (scratching..). no more blaming. no more secrets. no more. i'm sick of it. why can't we live in a fairytale book with happy endings, instead of a freaking soap opera. please. i'm begging. just forget about that dumb boy, that family-splitting divorce, that not-so-hot grade, that juicy gossip you just heard. just forget for one day, and let's have a girls night. a sleepover full of open discussion and laughing and maybe even crying, to get it off our chests.
friday. my house. six o'clock.
be there or be []. i mean it.
love,
katie

a whole week off of school was just what we needed. a break. some of us stayed home, while some of us went out of town. like me! i got to spend the first few days of my vacation in oregon with my beloved sister anna. i love her so much and it was really fun to hang out with her and the rest of my family that lives there too! i can't say how wonderful it was, all the free food, family love, and i got to wear a jacket! it was great. i can't wait to do it again except maybe next time she'll come to us :)

lights. camera. ACTION!

the night we waited weeks for finally arrived. saturday, october 3, 2009. seven o'clock, roughly. but hours before is when it really began. curling irons, blow dryers, straighteners, extensions, tiaras, make-up, make-up and you guessed it, more make-up. hillary duff, britney spears, and shania twain blasted in the background as our motivation to get in the mood. we sang, danced, cracked a few jokes and had a fabulous time together. all in all, it was a great night and although mallory and kenzie weren't squeezed in the bathroom with us getting ready, they were still in our thoughts and we missed them dearly.
